“So many people come to me with the same complaints: heartburn, bloating, constipation, excess gas, abdominal pain.

And you know what I always tell them? These symptoms aren’t random. They’re not ‘genetic bad luck.’ They’re signals. Your body is literally waving a flag saying, ‘Hey, something’s off down here!’

And in so many cases, the fix is surprisingly simple: learn how to eat like a human again.”

“What Went Wrong”

“Look, here’s the problem. In the modern world, real food has been swapped out for ultra-processed, chemical-laden stuff our bodies don’t even recognize.

We rush through meals, scarfing sandwiches on the way to meetings, eating at our desks, never giving our nervous system the chance to tell our digestive system: ‘Yo, it’s time to prep.’

We don’t chew. We don’t pause. We don’t eat in context. And our biology? It’s starving for something deeper than calories.”

“Why Chewing Changes Everything”

“One of the first things I tell my clients is: chew each mouthful 30–40 times.

And every time they look at me like I’ve just grown two heads. ‘Thirty to forty times?!’

But here’s the truth: chewing is the ON switch for digestion.

When you chew properly, your stomach gets the signal to release acid. Your pancreas goes, ‘Alright, enzymes coming right up.’ Your gallbladder steps in with bile for the fats.

If you skip chewing? You short-circuit the whole system. Food doesn’t break down. It ferments in your gut, feeds the wrong bacteria, and suddenly you’ve got gas, bloating, and pain.

And let me drop this one on you: reflux? Most of the time it’s not from too much acid. It’s from too little. Those antacids you grab at the chemist? Sure, they bring quick relief. But long term? They just make the problem worse.”

“The Bigger Picture”

“Digestion isn’t just about what you eat. It’s about how you eat. And where.

Stress keeps your body stuck in fight-or-flight mode, which literally shuts down digestion.

Fluorescent lights, doomscrolling, late-night snacking — all of that messes with your gut’s body clock.

And don’t get me started on ultra-processed diets. No fiber. Sticky, sluggish stools. Add dehydration and… yeah, you’re constipated.

But humans weren’t designed to eat like this. We evolved to eat in sunlight, with feet on the ground, in connection with people. Not hunched over a laptop, shoving food in during a 15-minute ‘lunch break.’”

“The Solution Is Simple”

“Here’s the good news: the solution isn’t complicated.

Chew slowly. Eat real food. Hydrate. Align meals with nature. Do those things, and most digestive complaints just… fade.

You don’t need ten supplements or the latest gut hack. You just need to remind your biology who you are.

When you eat like a human, you’re not just healing your gut — you’re reconnecting with food, rhythm, and life itself.

So… shall we start tonight?”

🥗 “A Simple Guide to Eating Like a Human”

“Chew fully Aim for 30–40 chews per bite. Notice how the flavors change as food breaks down.

Eat in calm. Step away from screens. Breathe. Let your body switch into ‘rest and digest.’ Share meals with people you love.

Prioritize real food. Go for colorful, whole foods that look like they came from the earth. If possible, grass-fed meats, wild fish, pasture-raised eggs. Skip the lab-made imitations.

Honor fiber & fermentation. Load up on vegetables, beans, seeds, fruit. Add a spoonful of fermented foods. Kimchi, sauerkraut, and yogurt with each meal.

Hydrate with intention, drink water throughout the day. Toss in a pinch of sea salt or minerals if you’re active or in the heat.

Sync with nature, eat your main meals in daylight. Step outside for sun before or after. Keep your body clock in rhythm with the world around you.”

“Here’s the thing: your body isn’t broken. It’s brilliant. It knows exactly what to do if you just give it the right conditions.

Chew. Slow down. Eat food that actually looks like food. Drink water. Step outside for sunlight. Do those simple things, and you’ll be amazed at how many of those ‘mystery symptoms’ disappear.

So the next time you sit down for a meal, ask yourself: am I eating like a human… or like a machine shoving fuel in on the go?

Because your biology doesn’t want fast, fake, or distracted. It wants rhythm. It wants connection. It wants real.

And when you give it that, your body will thank you in the only way it knows how by working the way it was designed to.

So yeah… it’s not complicated. Eat like a human. Feel like a human. Live like a human.”
